The Transgender Health Information Program – THiP – is a BC-wide information service and resource hub. THiP’s vision is that all trans* individuals across BC are able to access gender affirming healthcare and engage in society feeling safe, included and well represented. THiP’s support services are available to people who identify as trans*, as well as their families, friends, loved ones and service providers.

THiP lists transgender health-related trainings available to practitioners in British Columbia on its website. THiP provides detailed health information for Service Providers on their website and can answer questions via e-mail or phone.

    Hope you’re well. I’m seeking a gender-affirming body contouring procedure for feminization (MTF). I’m looking for a specialist in that field in the Lower Mainland preferably. Would you be able to assist me on this request?

    In addition, I’d like to know if there’s an insurance that covers this procedure. If so, would you be able to share this information with me?
